One of our Top Teachers Akiko sensei has created a couple of references and a practice test for those who are working on Onomatopoeia at JLPT N2 level.

It is quite a volume so my recommendation is to go through them with your teachers in the lessons. They will help you remember them one by one by giving you practical example sentences with the right contexts.
If you become capable of using onomatopoeias, you will be able to describe things more elaborately so it will be worth spending your time on them :)
