Asaoの日本語教師タイトです。 日が落ちるのが早くなってきましたね。夏至過ぎてだいぶ経つしね、、なんて話から今日私はレッスンで、イングランドのストーンヘンジで夏至に行われるSummer Solsticeなる祭りがあることを教えてもらいました。 とはいえまだ暑い日が続く東京コンクリートジャングル。ゆめゆめ無理をなさらぬよう。8月のPub Nightの様子をお伝えします。

今回はMasaさんの弟のAkiくんもイタリアから参戦してくれたようです。次回は9月29日。またこちらからお誘いさせていただきます。 では！

How are you?

Thank you so much for joining us for the last Pub Night! We hope you enjoyed it :)

How did you find the venue this time? I personally liked the place a lot as it has a great access from Shinjuku station, a range of drinks including a variety of craft beers and ciders which are reasonably priced and lots of entertainment around. It is spacious enough to accommodate groups even on a Friday night :)

The next Pub Night is going to be from 19:30 on Friday 29 September :) Taito sensei is fixing the next venue right now.

Let's discover Tokyo together!

みなさんこんばんは！
毎月恒例のPub Nightを行いました。

今回は西新宿にての開催。いろんな話題に触れましたが、深淵なるオノマトペについて／ハイキングやビアガーデンや各国の料理をみんなで作ったりするイベントやりたいね／枝豆のからの「から」って何？といった話題で盛り上がりました。
また、私の生徒のトマシュとは、日本酒の角打ちに行きたいね、と以前から話していたことに再度触れてみたり。その話、乗った！と賛同の声をあげてくれる方がいれば、Pub nightでの日本酒回も現実になるかも？（お酒を飲まない方の声ももちろんウェルカムです）

We hope you enjoyed it :)

The venue we chose this time was called Oonoya and it was located within a 10 minute walk from the west gate of Shinjuku station. With its great accessibility and pricing structure, the place turned out to be one of the most popular places among Japanese office workers, especially after work on Friday. There are lots of choices for drinking in Shinjuku, but Oonoya is definitely worth a try :)

参加いただいた方々、ありがとうございました！
今回は、、、日本、アメリカ、台湾、スペインからの皆さんがご参加。
わたくしタイトは錆びた英語力の若干の錆落としと、「日本語って悪口表現少なくない？」などの会話を楽しみました。←これは今後も探っていきたいテーマ
当初予定のお店が貸切の日というアクシデントで交流する時間が減ってしまったのが残念でしたが、また次回以降、今回の出会いから会話や議論が発展していけば、と思います！
今月は7月28日金曜日に開催予定ですので、またお知らせさせていただきます！

先日、2回目のASAO Pub nightを銀座Nelson's barにて開催しました！

ポーランド人のトマシュから、かの国の銘酒Żubrówka／ズブロッカの、現地で定番の飲み方を教えてもらいました。ズブロッカ1:アップルジュース2でSharlotka／シャルロッカ！
ポーランド語では同じ言葉がアップルパイも意味するそうです。

3回目のPub nightもまたお伝えさせていただきます。ロケーションやお店のリクエストがある方も遠慮なくご連絡ください！

I am thinking, maybe, the next venue can be the Hub in Yoyogi which everybody might find it easier to get to? Let us know your thoughts please :)

Asao Pub Night takes place from 19:30 on the last Friday of every month.
